Our business concept
The RMN concept incorporates industry best practice from existing rig co-operation schemes on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and world wide.
The RMN business concept is to provide versatile of mobile rigs to serve any operator company, license or group of licenses through the building of long term and seamless rig activity portfolios with a balanced risk profile for the participants.
The basis would be to secure rigs on cost efficient contracts in a balance between short (if possible) and long term duration. The contracts will be backed by industry syndicate, The RMN “Rig Fund”. The risk profile will be balanced with a combination of:
1. Back to back sublet agreements between RMN and licenses (via the operators).
2. Exposed company slots, financed by single operators.
3. Exposure sharing mechanism for unbooked capacity among the Rig Fund participants.
For smaller operators, the scope of services could be extended to undertake the full project management of well construction projects via use of subcontract services from established suppliers of such services. This could include the contracting of all other services to undertake a complete drilling operation.
ig Management Norway AS (RMN) is a company established under Norwegian rules and regulations, with the aim to construct and coordinate continuous well schedules in order to attract rig owners for awarding contracts to the user group.
